Sexual Harassment & Assault Prevention Policy

Policy Statement
Imperative Security Guard Services is committed to maintaining a workplace and client-site environment where all individuals are treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism. We maintain zero tolerance for sexual harassment, sexual assault, discrimination, or retaliation of any kind.
This policy applies to all employees, supervisors, managers, contractors, clients, vendors, and anyone interacting with our workforce while on duty or at a client location.
Our Commitment

Sexual harassment, sexual assault, and inappropriate conduct are strictly prohibited.

All complaints will be taken seriously, investigated promptly, and handled as confidentially as possible.

Retaliation is strictly prohibited against anyone who reports misconduct or participates in an investigation in good faith.
Prohibited Conduct
Sexual harassment includes, but is not limited to, unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature, whether verbal, physical, visual, or written, such as:

Unwelcome sexual comments, jokes, remarks, or gestures

Requests or pressure for sexual favors or personal relationships

Displaying sexually suggestive images, messages, or content

Unwanted touching, physical contact, or invasion of personal space

Sexual intimidation, threats, coercion, or assault
Harassment may occur between individuals of any gender and can involve supervisors, coworkers, clients, or third parties.
Reporting Procedure
Employees are encouraged to report any incident of harassment or assault immediately. Reports may be made through any of the following channels:

Employees are not required to report to someone who is involved in the misconduct.
Investigation and Corrective Action
All reports will be investigated promptly, thoroughly, and impartially. Imperative Security Guard Services will take appropriate corrective action when misconduct is confirmed, up to and including disciplinary action or termination of employment.
Training & Legal Compliance
Imperative Security Guard Services complies with all applicable sexual harassment prevention laws, including those of California, Oregon, Washington, and Virginia.

All new employees receive sexual harassment prevention training within 90 days of hire, as required by law.

Refresher training is provided at least every two years or more frequently where required.

Supervisory and non-supervisory employees receive training appropriate to their roles.
No Retaliation
Retaliation against any employee for reporting harassment, participating in an investigation, or exercising legal rights is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.
